3D Printer Project
For this project I am making a phone/earbud/charging holder. I decided to do this because I don't like holding my phone for long periods of time, this way I can just set it in the holder. There is a spot to wind up the earbuds and hold them in place. Also, at the bottom of the phone holder there is a slot for a charger to plug into your phone. I found the main phone holder design on google and decided to add the earbud and charging modifications.
This was the final product of the phone holder on Inventor.
In this screenshot I was extruding the phone holder to make it wider.
This was my original sketch from my designer notebook.
I took another screenshot of the print preview screen.
Another screenshot of it printing the project.

The earbuds wrap around the back and go into that hole in order to keep them untangled and organized.
The hole at the bottom is where you can plug in the phone.
This is when I was exporting it to print.
This is a screenshot of the 3D printer just before it started printing.
This was the absolute final product of this project.

Overall, I learned quite a bit of new things during this project. Some of which were learning about even more options Inventor has to offer, such as how it can see lines that you have past created in before sketches. For example, sketch one lines overlap and can be traced into sketch two's lines. Finally, this was a good learning experience and I wish I could have taken more screenshots of my project 3D printing but class ended to quickly. Also, it took 10 hours and 30 minutes to print out the product. All in all, I enjoyed the 3D printing project.
